Book now: RTIG Workshop

Transport for the North Disruptions Messaging Project

Transport for the North are developing a disruption data profile to enable the sharing of disruption data between systems.

The draft of the profile and initial guidance can be reviewed in the documents section of this site.

During the review phase we welcome comments and feedback.

What is RTIG?

RTIG was established in 2000 to provide a focus for all those involved in UK bus RTI. We now have a comprehensive remit to cover the effective and efficient use of technology in the interests of passenger transport users, operators and sponsors.

RTIG is a trade body for public transport technology stakeholders.

Our members are local authorities, bus operators, system suppliers and consultants.
RTIG works on behalf of its members and the wider industry, delivering benefit though:

  • An extensive and continuously evolving technical library
  • practice guidelines to help members achieve successful implementation
  • Working with Governments to help policymakers stay informed on real-world issues
  • Regular workshops, enabling members to discuss concerns and share experiences
  • Using our national buying power to secure excellent value framework contracts
  • Support to the development of standards, at UK and European levels.
