Workshop - Data – Getting the Foundations Right

This is the first RTIG workshop of 2019.

It’s been a while since we have focused on the core building block of real time information and this event will be a good reminder for experienced, and introduction for newer members on the core data it takes to ensure customer information is accurate and timely. In addition, we will look to the future and the recent and pending developments in NeTEx.

Newsletter

The production on Newsletters is now back on a monthly cycle.
They will be posted on the RTIG website and emailed out to the newsletter contact list.

The email list has been re-started having been reduced to core RTIG member contacts to ensure it is compliant with data protection laws.

To sign up please use the 'Subscribe to Newsletter' link on the left.

Newsletters will be emailed out once per month.

Previous editions of the Newsletter are  available on this site (there's also a link to the left).

There are a number of different areas where work is developing at a pace and it is likely that there will be some short notice events being run and information requests needing quick responses. Where these occur we will use the newsletter list to get the message out as quickly as possible rather than waiting for the newsletter. We will try to keep these to a minimum.

What is RTIG?

RTIG was established in 2000 to provide a focus for all those involved in UK bus RTI. We now have a comprehensive remit to cover the effective and efficient use of technology in the interests of passenger transport users, operators and sponsors.

RTIG has a wide membership, drawn from UK local authorities, bus and rail operators and system suppliers, and enjoy excellent working relationships with Government and other key industry groups.
