Open data

The UK's Bus Services Act continues to make progress towards implementation. The DfT recently ran two consultations in support of the Act, one on open data (generally) and one on accessible information. These are now closed with outcomes expected to be published in December 2018.

Not-so-open data

A reminder that we have suspended active circulation of our Newsletter notifications (thanks GDPR). The Newsletter itself will still be available on this site (there's also a link to the left). Our data privacy policy is on the RTIG documents tab (and of course you don't need to sign in).

What is RTIG?

RTIG was established in 2000 to provide a focus for all those involved in UK bus RTI. We now have a comprehensive remit to cover the effective and efficient use of technology in the interests of passenger transport users, operators and sponsors.

RTIG has a wide membership, drawn from UK local authorities, bus and rail operators and system suppliers, and enjoy excellent working relationships with Government and other key industry groups.
